In this course, I would like you to explore your own lived experiences and connect the concepts in the text to your own existence. Depending of the context of the chapter you will be able to connect course material to your self, family, neighborhood, community, even nation. Anthropologists have called ethnographic research the “discovery methodology,” you will be looking at your own experience through the lens of anthropology.
Often we overlook our own experience, thinking it as nothing special. With further questions and inspections you will find deeper meaning and connections to the concepts and terms in this course. I look forward to reading your responses
