SCENARIO
You are the lead developer for the software development team at Great Code Inc. Your company has been contracted by the Acme Company to develop a set of software system solutions to bring their existing manual, paper processes into an automated, digital environment. The Acme Company has very limited experience with the process of developing software.
INSTRUCTIONS
The Program Manger has asked you to present an overview presentation of the system development life cycle during the initial kick-off meeting with the Acme Company stakeholders and has asked you to include the following information:
Introduce the concept of the system development life cycle.
Examine each phase within the system development life cycle ensuring that the purpose and importance of each phase is detailed.
Throughout the presentation, emphasize the customer’s participation and validation throughout the life cycle.
Conclude with a summary of how the system development life cycle ensures customer satisfaction and quality software products.
