Research step #2: Eight secondary sources with annotated sources
ANNOTATED LIST OF EIGHT SECONDARY SOURCES: 25 points each, 200 max for assignment. Due week 4. Secondary sources include books, articles, and websites about topics in history. There is a great deal of information available on the web; however, not everything on the web is suitable for academic research. Make sure that your web sources are reliable: from libraries, archives, historical associations and the like. Some .com sites are fine–like reliable newspapers and news sites. Do not use wikipedia sites, blogs, or encyclopedias.
For each of your secondary sources, write a separate entry that includes the following information: (1) a full citation (URL), a summary of the information; and (3) explanation of how the source pertains to your topic.
Your sources for this assignment should include:
at least two academic journal articles
at least two academic books
reliable historical web sources
