My thesis will depend on proving that STEM/STEAM education should be included in early childhood curriculum. STEM/STEAM teaches the importance of making connections and helps to build a child’s cognitive development. It is important to introduce such subjects when their brain are primed to take new information. Exposing children to STEM/STEAM at a young age supports a child’s overall academic growth and develops early thinking and reasoning skills. The real life skills that children develop when learning STEM/STEAM help make them better problem solvers and learners.
My essay will use the technique of Logos because I want my points to seem so straightforward and commanding that my audience/reader can’t conceive of an alternative. The most effective use of logos is to encourage my audience to reach the conclusion to my argument on their own. Logos can be effective in arguments because it is impossible to argue against truth and facts. A reader or audience is more likely to agree with a writer/speaker who can provide strong, factual evidence that shows their position is correct.
