Perhaps the most important aspect of Normal Curve Theory is that it gives us a picture of how most people ‘are’… their height, their weight, their attention span, their emotional reactions, etc.

Think about advertising for products that you either own or are interested in. What are two of the advertising techniques being used? What is the target audience for the advertising ?
Think about advertising for political candidates or propositions that are on the ballot in November. What are two of the techniques being used to promote their viewpoint and influence you? What is the target audience for the political ad?
OPTIONAL: If you want to do something different, you can comment on whether particular news shows are promoting a particular viewpoint and what target audience they are trying to reach or appeal to… also, in the last Presidential Election, more people who were eligible to vote, chose to not vote rather than vote for either candidate. Is not voting in your opinion, a rightful choice?
