Scenario
You are a new parent who will be returning to full-time employment. In your preparation, you must decide what to do for child care. Consider all of your options, including informal and formal child care arrangements.
Instructions
In a Word document, create a table or chart listing all of your options.
Next, research the various options and determine the pros and cons of each. Be sure to evaluate the effect that each arrangement may have on development.
Then, evaluate the quality of care provided by each arrangement and decide which option would be best for you and your family and why.
Finally, consider cultural influences of your decision. If your cultural background was different, would you have chosen a different option?
