Summary:
For this assignment, you will choose one well-known investing app to research. You will then write a one-page paper covering the following:
Name and brief summary of app and its features.
Why you chose this app instead of others?
What kind of investments would you make with this app?
You will also be responsible for using a minimum of 3 reliable sources. Textbooks are not to be used for one of the three reliable sources for this assignment; however, they may still be included as a supplemental reference.
Your submission should be a minimum of 250 words. Going over the minimum word length requirement is acceptable; however, I am not looking for a 2500+ word assignment.
This assignment should have an APA title page and a reference page. The APA title page and reference page DO NOT count towards the minimum word requirement! Your body of work needs to be a minimum of 250 words in length. Note that an APA abstract page is NOT required!
Be as thorough as possible when writing your assignment, and remember, this is an academic assignment, so no “text-talk,” no conversational tone, and ABOVE ALL OTHER THINGS… don’t plagiarize!! Lastly, spell-check and proofread your work! Failure to follow these steps will negatively impact your grade.
Note that when you upload your paper to this assignment an Originality Report will become available within a few minutes after your submission is uploaded. Inside the Originality Report will be a Similarity Index. The Similarity Index will show a percentage of the material in your paper if it matches other sources found by Turnitin. You will be expected to have a Similarity Index of less than 20%. If your Similarity Index is greater than 20% you will need to review your Originality Report to be sure that you have paraphrased your work appropriately and cited and referenced your work correctly. If you have done so and your Similarity Index is greater than 20%, you may disregard the Similarity Index percentage.
The Originality Report will help you to avoid plagiarism, as well as improve the quality and content of your writing. It is strongly suggested that you keep direct quotations to a minimum, and never copy and paste text without proper citations. You have until the activity due date to resubmit your work to Turnitin, however, there will commonly be a 24-hour delay before the Originality Report becomes available. It is your responsibility to submit your activity on time, with a Similarity Index of less than 20%. As noted above, if you have paraphrased your work appropriately, cited and referenced your work correctly, and your Similarity Index is greater than 20%, disregard the Similarity Index percentage.
