Should President Truman use the atomic bomb?
For the purpose of the paper, it is August 1945; President Truman is deciding if he should use the newly tested atomic bomb on Japan to bring the war to an end. You are a high ranking American official whose opinion the President values. Write a letter to Truman to address the above question.
The paper should be 3-4 pages long, typed and double spaced. You should use at least 4 sources, one of the sources should be a primary source. Use specific facts and information from your sources to address the question. The paper is due by Thursday, December 1st.
