Most people who hear the word spacecraft probably think of star cruisers from Star Wars or the Starship Enterprise from Star Trek. But the spacecraft of today are much smaller and much less “fascinating.” Today’s spacecraft are comprised of two main parts–the payload and the bus. For this discussion, explain the differences between the payload and the bus.
