Topic Question: What Initiatives Should be Implemented to Protect Small Businesses from Economic Problems?
My planned topic will focus on protecting small businesses from economic problems and the importance of small businesses’ role in the community. Small business owners play a significant role in the United States by creating jobs and driving innovation. Small businesses are usually the backbone of any city, yet many small business owners are left out in the cold or must find ways to fend for themselves at the first sign of trouble.
Thus, the questions of focus will be:
How can we help small businesses affected by the COVID-19 crisis?
What assistance is in place from the government for small businesses during COVID-19?
How can States help small businesses recover from COVID-19 and other economic problems?
What is the importance of small businesses in the U.S. economy?
