3.1 – 3.3 The student should write an essay in which they analyse how systems and processes can promote equality and inclusion or reinforce discrimination and exclusion. They should move on to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and processes in promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in their own area of responsibility. Lastly, the student should explain why it is important to promote improvements to address gaps or shortfalls in systems and processes, drawing on their own experiences.
Word count: 800 minimum
An essay is a more formal piece of work, written in the third person. It should demonstrate your ability to research a topic and to use referencing within your work. You should include both a reference list and a bibliography with all essay work.
