You will submit an annotated bibliography/source search of key research you have collected for your senior thesis. The sources that you find should be from research-based, peer-reviewed literature, and each source search should be reflective of the disciplinary approach that you are taking into consideration to solve your selected problem. If you need assistance with locating sources, the FGCU Library can be a great resource! As an annotated bibliography, the assignment should include full citations of the research, keywords from each resource, and with each entry followed by a brief summary of the primary argument and a brief discussion of the resource within the context of your research question/selected problem.
In order to make this task easier, you will have access to use a template document that will help you deconstruct your sources and determine how you will use them. You will also submit this assignment in segments so that you stay on track over the course of the semester. Annotated Bibliography/Source Search #1 should have sources #1-5, and contain resources that reflect your first selected disciplinary approach; Annotated Bibliography/Source Search #2 should have sources #6-10, and contain resources that reflect your second selected disciplinary approach; and Annotated Bibliography #3/Source Search should have sources #11-15, and contain resources that reflect your third selected disciplinary approach. These will be submitted via the appropriate Canvas dropboxes at various due dates throughout the semester.
