The first assessment counts for a total of 45% of your final mark for this module. It is split in the following way:
22.5% for the analysis of the Qualitative paper
22.5% for the analysis of the Quantitative paper

1. Download the appropriate CASP tool for each paper
2. Review both papers
3. Complete both downloaded CASP forms. note you will need to transfer the CASP questions into a word document if you cannot edit the downloaded PDF. The purpose of this assessment is for you to demonstrate your critical appraisal skills. You must give the rationale for your answer to each of the questions. Think critically about the studies you have been asked to appraise.
4. The critique of the quantitative paper should be limited to a 2 page Word document and no more than 750 words
5. The critique of the qualitative paper should be no more than 1500 words
