NSCS Online Scholar Award
Every year, NSCS awards five $1,000 scholarships to outstanding NSCS members who attend one of our online universities.
Qualifications
Applicant must be a member of NSCS.
Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Applicant must be attending an Online or Non-Traditional School.

Social Support Group – that helps kids and young adults. Especially the ones that are caring for a sibling that is sick or disabled.
Best Buddies Club
A non-profit organization that builds one-to-one friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), offering social mentoring while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion for a population that is often isolated and excluded.
Volunteer
Assistant Teacher for Sunday School Program
Teacher provides safe, welcoming, developmentally appropriate care for infants and toddlers during Sunday morning services, and may include additional hours during other church activities, including but not limited to meetings, and special all-church events. Ensure a safe environment for children and allow parents to participate fully in church life.
Over two year’s experience in a teaching/class-room environment .
Demonstrate two years experience as a caregiver of children ages 0-5 years.
Understanding of child development and age appropriate activities.
Knowledge of basic of child safety and welfare.
Show a track record of reliability and effective communication with children, co-workers, supervisors and families.
Work in a team with other staff and volunteers.
