In childhood, we see the drive for motivation emerging in many areas. Children want to please the important adults in their lives. They also want to do things for themselves, such as learning to dress themselves, writing their name and many other things to foster independence and a feeling of achievement. There are many factors that contribute to whether a child maintains that motivation.
