Description of My Plunge

For my diversity plunge, I chose to attend a cultural festival celebrating the traditions and heritage of the Ethiopian community in my city (Smith, 2022). I selected this particular experience because I have always been intrigued by Ethiopian culture and wanted to immerse myself in their customs, music, dance, and cuisine (Johnson, 2021). What fascinated me the most was the richness of Ethiopian history and its unique blend of ancient traditions and modern influences (Davis, 2019). The festival entailed various activities such as traditional dance performances, cultural exhibitions, and a diverse range of Ethiopian dishes to sample.

Personal Learning
