1.The nature versus nurture debate reaches long and far. Some argue that our behavior and personality traits are most heavily influenced by nature (our genetic makeup), some believe our traits are most heavily influenced by nurture (how we were raised and the environment we were raised in), and some argue that its an equal mixture of nature and nurture that influences our traits. Regardless of how our personality traits and preferences are formed, can someone who has always had public speaking anxiety deliver a high-quality public presentation?
2.The delivery of our speech is important. Effective delivery helps establish our credibility, encourages the audience to stay engaged, and helps to clarify and support our message. Some argue that there is too much value placed on the performance. What do you think a speaker needs to do or avoid doing in order to deliver an effective speech?
