Each student must prepare a list of 5 learning goals and 5 personal goals for this course. Goals are statements of intended outcomes upon completion of this course. The goals should provide a sense of direction and motivation as well as serve as performance guidelines, aid in decision making and evaluation. Goals should have the characteristics of Being…SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-Bound.
Of the ten (10) learning goals: Two should be interpersonal (collaboration or team focused) two should be domain focus (consumer education, departmental training, competencies in release of information, coding, revenue cycle, privacy, data analytics, standards etc.) and one should be intrapersonal (a personal goal direction to self-improvement).
You may revise your goals throughout this course.
After creating your 10 goals, narrow and prioritize your goals down to five or six after the first two weeks of the course.
This must be done utilizing the APA 7th Edition format and a minimum of five pages (excluding title page, abstract, and references).
