IN “College Pressures” and “The Dog Ate My Disk, and Other Tales of Woe”, the authors discuss the pressures that college students are under as well as some of the excuses that students have used to avoid making deadlines of assignments. Both of these ideas are connected because sometimes students may make excuses for not submitting assignments on time due to the pressure that they are under.
In our current model of “distance learning” under the COVID-19 Pandemic, have these pressures increased and are students more prone to use more excuses due to the circumstances?
NOTE:
The essay must incorporate a minimum of three outside sources. Additionally, the Works Cited page must adhere to the format guidelines of the MLA. There will be a 15 point deduction for an essay which does not adhere to the MLA formatting guidelines.
