Using Table 3-1 and Figure 3-9 in Chapter 3, complete the Practice Case Study for Hotel Pairs. Then answer the following two questions from the case:
1. What are the seven steps in the strategic management planning process?
2. List at least three steps and explain how they would improve Hotel Paris’ ability to meet the goals and objectives of the strategic plan.
3. How could they use metrics to measure its HR practices?
4. Why are metrics necessary? What is achieved by using them? How does each metric affect and connect to the overall strategic plan?
5. Prioritize and summarize why you feel these choices provide the best course of action.
