A few things organizations can do to prevent sexual harassment is hold employee’s accountable for their actions, put in the handbook and quarterly that they have a zero tolerance policy for any kind of harassment at the workplace, have an open door policy to there employee’s to be able to express themselves and not be afraid to speak up, and reinforce to the employee that you stand with them so they don’t feel alone or like they are being bullied. According to (Winkler, 2018), the work place should fully define what is considered sexual harassment, fully investigate, and fire any wrongdoer’s because it is the right thing to do.

The current legal environment place does not put unfair burdens on the workplace to prevent harassment. It is not only holding the individual accountable but it is also holding the company accountable for that employee’s wrong doing’s. Rather it is restitution, or the company being sued someone has to take accountability.

The ethical theory would be social justice and social contract theory because, this theory consider’s right and wrong. As the harasser they would know when their advances are unwarranted. They should be held accountable because ethically it is the right thing to do.
