Children’s stories are impactful and oftentimes key in imparting cultural norms, socializing behaviour and teaching a life lesson. Select and read a children’s story that reflects each of the areas of study in this course and create an analysis of it from the perspective of an anthropologist, a psychologist, and a sociologist. The theme of the story must be centered on developing confidence and encouraging the authentic self. You must take on the role of each one of these professionals and examine the story in a manner consistent with their perspective.
You will write a 4 page paper on this topic. You must include an analysis and a conclusion of the effectiveness of the children’s book to foster knowledge in each of the three disciplines. Only objective and factual opinions that are consistent with your perspective should be expressed in this assignment.
