For this assignment, you will be conducting a literature review. Your literature review must be on topics related to infant and toddler development and may include some of the following:
access to high-quality Early Childhood Education for Infants and Toddlers
positive effects of high-quality Early Childhood Education on Infants and Toddlers
Brain Research
Universal Pre-K
Developmentally appropriate practice
You must review at least one educational book and at least three scholarly articles. Scholarly articles should be obtained through library databases, such as EBSCO.
After skimming and/or reading the book and reading articles, you are expected to write two or more pages in total.
Your literature review should include a discussion of what the research reviewed tells you about your topic.
The introduction of your literature review, you should include a problem statement and describe how your topic relates to infant and toddler development.
You should also discuss how the research would influence your use of developmentally appropriate practices when working with infants and toddlers.
Be prepared to share your finding briefly in class.
