General overview of assignment:
Choose a topic, take a specific stance and argue your point with supporting evidence based on your research. Avoid simply summarizing what has happened historically; make sure you have a point of view that can be argued. Be sure that your paper has a proper title that reflects the thesis, an argumentative tone, proper structure and paragraphs and a minimum of three scholarly sources. The paper must include a bibliography/works cited.
