Create a proposal based on an Experiment.
Your assignment is a proposal for a research study.
Use the criteria listed below to write your research proposal. Your proposal has to show that the proposed research study is related to communication or media studies, has its significance, and is well designed.
Format:
⦁ 6-7 pages of text plus additional questionnaire and reference pages (at least 7 pages for a team research proposal)
⦁ double-spaced
⦁ Times New Roman 12
⦁ 1-inch margins
⦁ APA 7th style for headings, citation, and references
⦁ Cite at least 5 relevant scholarly articles or reports while you are writing your introduction and literature review.
Requirements:
⦁ You need to have at least 2 hypotheses/specific research questions in your research proposal (1 dependent variable and 1 independent variable in 1 hypothesis/specific research question, except for the hypothesis/specific research questions about interaction or moderation effect). The set of hypotheses/specific research questions have to reflect your general research question.
You need to have at least 3 different variables. You need to adopt or adapt the operationalization and measurement of at least 1 variable from an existing study.
At least 2 variables are not demographic variables.
At least 1 dependent variable needs to have a multiple-item measure.
Requirements Summary:
⦁ Cite at least 5 relevant scholarly articles or reports while you are writing your introduction and literature review.
⦁ At least 2 hypotheses and/or specific research questions (RQs) related to your topic (write 1 DV and 1 IV in 1 hypothesis/RQ, except for the moderation hypothesis/RQ)
⦁ At least 3 variables in total
⦁ At least for 1 variable, you adopt or adapt an existing measure used in other scholarly articles or reports.
⦁ At least 2 variables are not demographic variables
